Hello =)

This forum is for any of you that are in bands or just seriously listening to a band right now to brag about them, promote them, shove them down all of our throats, and feel good about it =)

It's not necessarily limited to "NEW BANDS", but let's just try to get everybody into some of the stuff we're into that is still kind of under the radar =)

If you're in a band and want to mail the Sheath a demo, you are more than welcome to do so. Just send it here:

The Mylene Sheath
PO Box 12029
Covington, KY 41012

Awesome!

I'm not in a band but I recently started a small DIY/handmade record label to release my own stuff as well as my friends. So far everything I've put out is some kind of pop variation of acoustic or punk. You can check out the label site at:
http://bridgetownrecords.blogspot.com

hear a few songs at:
http://www.myspace.com/bridgetownrecords

I play a kind of acoustic pop that isn't campfires or hiking or all that overdone stuff in the "folk" world. I'm more into telling stories about real life people and situations, though some are kind of far fetched.

here's what I mean by DIY/handmade:

The first two are two seperate two main bands. Neither of them have very final recordings, and will probably be completely rerecorded over the summer. All parts for As Long As It Hits Russia are recorded by us.

The third is a now defunct punk band that had a full setup. Good times while it lasted.
