I thought we mailed you a handful of the first one a few months ago? Either way, we're happy to send a few more, but that's all we have of issue one. We have plenty of issue two left, we pressed 1000 more of these ones after demand was a bit more than we expected on the first one. Please send us an email at info@themylenesheath.com with the address you want them shipped to and we'll send them out to you. We still have to send each of the contributors copies for themselves as well, so it's not that we forgot about you, we've just been buried with a lot of other label stuff!! Hope you've been well buddy, talk to you soon <33333

My first post. I ordered Caspian's Tertia and was reading through the amazing Zine #2, and saw you accept submissions. I consider myself a bit of a writer.
Hope you enjoy
I Don't Know What It Means, Or Maybe I Don't Want To
I'll say goodnight
I'll bleed a little
Bleed a little on the floor
Heart on my sleeve
Nailed to the door
I left my heart in San Francisco
Because I've never been there before
He walks among the shadows, a shadow himself he knows intimately their desires. To be, to be, or not to be, but most all of to. He sees a light, a light made of brass stars and broken glass chandeliers crystalline and sparkling rainbow gold all over the floor. It's the smell of cheese, old cheese, dead cheese, and pigs, dead pigs and living ones that causes him to vomit. A momentary weakness of limbs and spirit. He cannot spell for the life of him, and always leaves his eyes at home, where they belong, where they languish in a spell fast growing old, and the elderly die, all the time, die one after another, til young men grow old, and elderly, and die too. He cannot believe the sound, the sound of cats mewing in the dark, singing soulful songs like the angels only completely out of tune and black as dead carcasses by the side of the road, all covered in eons old blood. He laughs at this joke, this punchline that no one gets, no one gets but God. Hey, are you getting up to leave? To leave MY show? I'm the one talking here, out of turn, but at least I'm communicating my feelings of gloom and doom, broom, and chrome jets that vroom vroom. Maybe you didn't understand, this is not all there is, though that feeling probably calms your nerves about dying. He thinks it over, and philosophizes with a crooked tongue the true blue network of chains that laugh and cry all at the same time. Twisted metal of a forgotten father on the horizon. I bleed a little on the floor. Nail my heart to the door. And say goodnight, because I've never been here before.
oops, saw that you have to submit by email. will do.

You guys mentioned we can throw rants in for submission? Well, that's tops! Coz I'm old and I enjoy a rant!
So Australia has a new prime minister. Big deal, you say. And while it is a big deal for us down here, it would probably only make the back pages on yer papers over there. Our former PM, Kevin Rudd, affectionately known as K-Rudd and un-affectionately known as Krud, gave up the leadership to his Deputy, Julia Gillard, over a long night in the chambers. In the early afternoon the day before, when rumours of the impending power play were at their height, K-Rudd stated to all and sundry that he would fight fight fight. So what happens? He barely gives a whimper, turns tail and gives up the leadership without said fight.
The result? We have a leader in power we have not voted for. Yes, I know, we don't vote for the leader when elections come around, we vote for the party. And while that is, technically speaking, the truth, you can't tell me that the choice of leader doesn't influence your vote in some way, however small that may be.
So, another area where our democratic rights as voters has been blown out of the water. No wonder our governments think they can do what they want, when they want. War in Iraq anyone? Biggest protests since the Vietnam war and did our governments listen to those that voted them in? Not a shit show. Gordon Brown? Oh man, this guy wouldn't win a popularity contest if he was the only entrant.
Back to K-Rudd and Julia. He gone. She's bent over backwards to satisfy the people that REALLY run this country - the mining companies. By 'compromising' on the profits tax, she's enabled the real controllers to be back to being nice and happy with their lot. Their multi-billion dollar quarterly profits can now remain largely in their CEO's pockets, rather than the original situation, that Krud had developed where a portion of the proceeds of these massive profits would filter back to the folks that REALLY own the resources - the people of Australia.
Oh, and she has gone on to 'solve' the asylum seeker 'problem' by sending them to East Timor. Coz we have sooooo many asylum seekers coming, literally invading our shorelines - if you believe our sensationalist bullshit 6pm news reports. Did she consult the East TImorese government about this particular arrangement? Not a shit show.
In the words of Kent Brockman, I've said it before, I'll say it again, Democracy simply doesn't work.
