Hey gang!

We're having an easy-to-enter raffle for the last remaining copy of Caspian's You Are The Conductor test presses.

Image

All you have to do is post in this thread talking about how awesome the record is, or talking about anything else really :D But you should at least start out by talking about why this record is killer. If you haven't had every second of this one memorized for the past 8 years, you can bang it HERE :D

Simple, yeah? We will write down the name of everyone that posts in this thread and randomly draw a winner at the end of the month :D

Good luck everyone <3

Love that tune! The version at the Old South Church gives me goosebumps!

Abstaining from the contest since I already own this. Honestly this is my favorite from Caspians body of work. There is something so awesome about those songs in their respective order.

So siicccck! :D

Great band! Great album! I have seen them live twice and it was two of the best lives I've been. The closure with Sycamore is amazing!

The first time I heard the trifector (Quovis, Further Up, Further In) I was hooked. Even better live. And, given they're from my "neck of the woods" I get to see it whenever they're back home. Woot!

Caspian moves me in a way in which no other postrock band has ever succeeded. My all time favourite is “Vienna” – given the right setting/timing this song can bring a tear to my eye.
On “You are the conductor” I’ll say; Loft!

Why? Because it's an album, which was created before I felt there is much too many post-rock bands that are similar to each other. An you always back to the memories of the first one ;)

Caspian is the only band I've seen live that can be best described as "heavenly". Part of that is attributed to my experience of seeing Quovis, Further Up & Further In live. So this album, along with everything Caspian has done, is magical.
