What is the most expensive record that you own?

I own a few that have costed a pretty penny, but the one that I went all out on was a copy of "The Satellite Years" by Hopesfall. There was a one time limited pressing by Trustkill records in 2002. To me, it is the holy grail of melodic hardcore. It literally changed my life. For that, I shelled out $100 for a plain jane black copy limited to 700. That was about 2 years ago.

the most i've ever spent on a single record is $50 for my first copy of Marilyn Manson - Holy Wood. the most expensive single album (not counting box sets) in my collection is Pearl Jam - Binaural. i purchased it for somewhere around $18-20 brand new when it was released. currently there are only 3 for sale on discogs ranging from $243.40-$339.74

I don't usually buy a record if it's over 30 euros. Only if it's something I desperately need for my collection.

The most I've spent on one record was when I bought envy - last wish 7". 55 dollars plus postage, and if that wasn't already enough, the customs decided to add couple of bucks to it too. Total price was around 80 dollars. Pretty damn expensive for two songs but totally worth it.

The Mighty Mighty BossToneS - Last Dead Mouse 7" 1993 promo (stupid rare) $186.50

Image
Caspian - Tertia European Tour Variant (first pressing) $170.00

I also spent 70bux on a few things including this beauty

The original white whale.

As far as most valuable records I own I have no idea since they aren't ever getting sold.

I think the second most expensive single LP I've ever bought was the 2010 RSD reissue of "Fevers and Mirrors" by Bright Eyes. It was limited to 500 copies, and I picked one up for about $50. That was a few years before Saddle Creek reissued it on 2XLP, which is still readily available.

Purchased off eBay from John Haughm who was kind enough to sign it for me as well :)
I paid US$227.50 for Agalloch's "The Mantle", the only officially band supported pressing of this record on grey wax /500.

I also have Pale Folklore on blue wax and Ashes Against the Grain on black, both signed by John Haughm and the Agalloch/Nest split pic disc. They all cost a pretty penny.

Actually have a whole bunch of stuff that is worth a fair bit:
Isis - Shades of the Swarm
Agalloch box
Tenhi box
Led Zepp - Volume I (this is a box with their 1st four albums on 200g wax and a test press of Stairway. I thought I was buying the Remasters box when I paid for this, but when it was arrived it was so cool I didn't care that I ordered the wrong $250 box of records lol). I always wondered whether there was a Volume II with the rest of their catalog, but verifying the existence of either Volume has proven difficult.
Led Zepp - Remasters 6 LP ;)
