Hey gang!

Let's start this thing out by saying that we hope everyone enjoyed their Halloween! We went with the whole Jesus and Mary Magdalene get up and got some pretty good responses. One for the books. Pictured to your right...
We're dorks. I'm pretty sure that's common knowledge by now...

Now November offers us the American holiday of giving thanks (just to turn around and steal or destroy your land, women, legacy, and beliefs... haha.. just kidding). But seriously, thank you all, endlessly, for all the support and encouragement you have given to us. We will take special care to return the favor the best way we know how; to continually ensure that there is amazing music available out there somewhere for your listening pleasure =)

This year November also offers us the chance to answer a long awaited question; who will be our next President of the United States. As we all know, this is one of the most important elections in the history of the United States. We hope that everyone stateside has taken the time to know who they are voting for and why they are voting for them. By the time most of you read this newsletter, we will already know who our new President is. Let's all keep our fingers crossed that our electoral votes counted toward the right choice. Only time will tell, no matter who you vote for.
 
But, even more important than all that stuff....this month Beware Of Safety's new album, "dogs", will be up for preorder!!!!!!!! We are extremely proud to have the opportunity to offer this to you all. We are 100% confident that this is going to blow everyone away! The album left us speechless upon first listen and w haven't been able to stop talking about it since the second listen =) You can view a trailer for the album on the bands website HERE. The latest opus by Beware Of Safety entitled "dogs" is going to be available for preorders later this month! The release is going to be available on all formats. For all the vinyl nerds, it's going to come as a deluxe gatefold 2xLP with two different colors to choose from, along with an exclusive third color only available from the band at shows. Details on the colors and pressing information will be available when the preorder begins. The vinyl edition will contain a free download coupon for high quality MP3's of the entire album so you can have the album digitally as well.  For you convenience buffs, this monster will also be available on CD =) Packaged in a heavy cardboard stock gatefold CD jacket, with the right side containing the CD and the left side containing a booklet of illustrations by Bodin Sterba (the illustrations also appear on the inside of the gatefold jacket of the vinyl edition). And for all those who are interested in digital downloads via iTunes and all other major DSP's, that will be available in early January. When we start the preorder, we'll send out another email with exact pressing information, package deals, and ordering instructions, look for this around Thursday, November 13th. BENEATH OBLIVION 10"

 

This monster has been insurmountable, facing delays and snags that most releases would cringe at. But alas, in true Beneath Oblivion form, the album overcomes all adversity and, bearing all scars from the war, stands victorious. As now, it is at the pressing plant and becoming a tangible force to be reckoned with. This self titled 10" will unleash the despair that we all feel, but aren't comfortable expressing. All the while maintaining light at the end of the tunnel and the strength to face a new day. Wiser, stronger, triumphant. With preorders in December to ship in early January, your new year will be nothing like your last. Pressing info soon, look for this next month.

LVNGS- "sinking ships" 7"

 

A loooooooong 7".......simply meaning it will play at 33rpm =) The artwork is finalized and the masters are ready. The next release to hit the pressing plant will be none other than our first 7" as a label! Growing up collecting these little fellas makes this a pretty special release for us as vinyl nerds =) What makes it special as a music lover is the sheer level of skill shown in the songwriting department by these four dudes from Dayton, OH known as Lvngs. Powerful, intense drumming, slithering, dueling guitars, and droning, throbbing basslines make these two songs the perfect soundtrack to an epic battle being fought between knights and ogres. Too dorky of a reference? Fine, a battle between good and evil. Either way, this is apocalyptic bliss and here is its introduction to the world. This band is going to be special, starting now. As of November 4th, Eksi Ekso's "I Am Your Bastard Wings" 2xLP is in record stores nationwide! Stop by your local shop and pick up a copy! If it's not in stock there, just let them know they need to stock it asap.
